Birthday Villa Cabernet is made in the Bordeaux style not the heavy Australian red. It is aged in French Oak barrels over 18 months with a secondary malo lactic fermentation.
Made from nearly 40-year-old vines, it has the classic cassis nose of lovely mature blackberry, spice and cloves. Ruby red in colour
On the palate, an elegant wine with a persistent long finish.
